Rotary
Club of St. Augustine was founded in 1920, and meets
weekly for luncheon at the Casa Monica Hotel . It
is part of a worldwide organization of business and
professional leaders that provides humanitarian service,
and encourages high ethical standards in all vocations.
Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more
than 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries worldwide.
Rotary
International's top philanthropic goal is to eradicate
polio worldwide. Since establishing its PolioPlus
program in 1985, Rotary members have helped to immunize
more than
2
billion children in 122 countries, and have contributed
more than US$500 million toward a polio-free world.
The
motto of Rotary is "Service Above Self." Rotary Club
of St. Augustine charities include many organizations
locally such as Kids Bridge , YMCA, Council on Aging,
Salvation Army, Betty Griffin House, Learn to Read,
and, now through the St Augustine Amateur, The First
Tee of St Johns County.

It
is the generous contributions of our sponsors that
allow the St Augustine Amateur to continue as a prestigious
amateur event. If you would like to join us
as a sponsor of the St Augustine Amateur, please contact
our Tournament Chairman at committee@staugustineamateur.org
